Hello my wonderful cyber friends and the Universe,
Last week it was the first ‘half-term’ break from my son’s school.. We decided to spend the week in Spain visiting the family, but specially ‘abuelita’ (grandmother), who misses my son very much.
Everything went well and we are now happily back in London to our daily routines, which I welcome very much, specially when I find beautiful surprises, like the email from John at http://dougdoeslife.com with regards to his post dated 30 October 2013 where he published a list of nominees for “The Versatile Blogger Award“.
I just couldn’t believe my eyes when I found my name on his list.. I was so shocked, and so happy at the same time, I can hardly express the extent of my joy…. I can only sigh, and sigh again.. I feel so grateful..
“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” – Marcel Proust
Yes, ‘dougdoeslife’, your email made me so happy, I even got emotional. I feel so grateful, I cannot express it enough… All I can say is THANK YOU… Thank you so much for the award, I feel so honoured..
“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, “thank you,” that would suffice” – Meister Eckhart

Seven things about me:
1. I originally come from Spain but I have been living and working in London (England), for the past 27 years.
2. I live in a lovely and charming residential neighbourhood, walking distance from the river Thames, where the starting point of the famous annual boat-racing takes place.
3. I am very interested in Shamanism (but I had never practised it). I believe in the spirit world and the transcendental energies around us.
4. I used to practise Yoga on a regular basis, but since my son arrived to this plane, I only practise every now and then.
5. A 90% Raw foodies for the last 7 months, trying to live a very healthy and spiritual life.
6. I enjoy walking a lot, specially in the forest and the countryside. I also love the mysterious and soothing power of the sea.
7. Every time there is a Full moon I experience a distinctive tickling at the tip of my fingers…mmmm.. (Maybe I was a wolf in my previous life…hahaha..)
Once again, John thank you for nominating me for this award, I feel so honoured. Thank you also for the chance to nominate others who will probably deserve it more than I do..
I couldn’t leave this post without a sketch/drawing/illustration, even if it is ‘unfinished’.., (so many unfinished work…arrggghh..)..
Dancing with joy and appreciation.. Feeling so GRATEFUL..
I will post this sketch again, once is finished.. Lets keep painting regardless the weather…
Keep creating..xx
You’re welcome, Gloria. I need to get back into yoga too. I stopped it after my shoulder surgery in July… I’ve been looking into raw foods… I’m a foodie though, and might have a hard time giving up some of my favorites.
Thank you so much Gloria for nominating me for this award! I am in such good company!
Hope you have a glorious day!
Love, Violette xo
You are very welcome Violette, you really deserve it.
Wishing you a magical and happy day.
Love and hugs,
Gloria
Appreciating the time and energy you put into your blog and
detailed information you present. It’s awesome to come across a blog
every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed information.
Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS
feeds to my Google account.
Thank you so much Mac for popping in.. Your comment has touched my hesrt.. Your words motivate and encourage me to keep walking this path.. Have a good day! x
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all
is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a
blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% sure.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
Thank you for popping into my blog and finding it nice, I really appreciate it..
Yes, I have paid a yearly fee of around 50 pounds (I do not remember the exact figure)for having this blog with WordPress, the more enhanced looking like blog the more you have to pay. If you wish to know more in depth information, google ‘WordPress’ and you can find all you need to know without having to compromise to anything. I am not great in all this technology and because I am self-thought in these matters, I found WordPress’s Guidance and their help services they user friendly. I hope this is useful.. I am sure you will be fine… Good luck with it!
It’s hard to come by educated people about this topic, but you seem
like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
Thank you so much intensedebate for your kind comment, I really appreciate it more than you can imaging. Comments like yours give me the strength that I need to keep doing what I do. Have a wonderful and magical rest of the week. Glo.x

Very good blog you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any discussion boards that cover the same topics discussed
in this article? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feed-back from other experienced
people that share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please
let me know. Many thanks!
Dear contempt,

I feel really sorry that I cannot help you with your query, as I am not part of any group or discussion boards; the ‘Versatile Blog Award’ was totally new for me, and the nomination was a total surprise and shock for me..
I am pretty sure that if you google your query you will most likely find what you are looking for..
