Yes, this is my third submission as DT for the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog, and so far I am enjoying every one of them, as it really puts me underpressure to streach my imagination and create something from the HEART, never better said..
“Whatever you do, you should do it with feeling” – Yogi Beura
I did not have time to add the watermark image above (the female image), but I am sure you get the idea.. The theme for this week was die-cut or punches and the sponsor Digistamps4joy . I also apologise for not having had time to take pictures of the process, but the true is that I totally forgot…
There was another digital image to choose from, a vase with flowers, so my instant inspiration when I saw both images was placing the female image among a field full of flowers in the shape of hearts.. I intuitively created my background landscape and the sun with reds, blues, oranges, green and yellow acrylics.. Then, I decided to cut some stems of the image with the heart-shaped flowers and place them at random. I also use a flower die-cut from sissix… I glued everything down before placing the female image where I felt it was most appropriate.. I issued promarkers and colour pencils to paint the female image and all the die cuts and flowers.. I also used gelatos here and there..
“Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower” – Shigenovi kameoka
Suddenly I realised I was creating a scene of hearts.. I love heartsssssss…and, while on the heart subject.. Lets do not forget that our own Heart is a powerful source of Energy at our disposal… More and more it is being documented the fact that our heart, not our brain, holds the secrets that link body, mind, and spirit.. Further more, our heart not only loves and feels, also thinks, remembers, communicates with other hearts, helps regulate immunity, and contains stored information that continually pulses through our body.. The latest reports in science say that one of the most significant medical, social, and spiritual discoveries of our time is that the heart is more than just a pump; it conducts the cellular symphony that is the very essence of our being… How incredible, powerful and awesome is that !!… These amazing discoveries really touch my soul… (Yes, I have already spoken about these matters on previous posts, but it just came so natural for me to talk about it again.. sorry!)
Here is the final, I hope you like it.
