My dear Friends and the Universe,

Again, two weeks have gone by, and here we are with another submission as DT member for the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog. The theme is ‘pastels’ this time.

I was very reflective and touched this week while working with this image, as great memories of my own personal experience during my pregnancy were revived… It was a time of  transformation, joy, courage, endurance, and very emotional journey when bringing a new life into this world.., …., (pose)…, (pose)…, As I try to share some of these feelings with you, my eyes fill with tears of joy and I become specheless remembering that enchanting time (and hard at times), that now it seems to be so far away…  Ever so often I find my self looking into my child’s eyes while thanking his Soul for having come to me… (pose)…, Oh! I feel so small, so humble before so much beauty… This quote from Maureen Hawkins is like it was written for me, as her words are the feelilngs I conveyed to my son’s spirit when he came to this world four years ago…

Of course, it was also an exhausting journey, but certainly rewarding beyond your wildest dreams! 🙂

At first, I didn’t really know what to do with the lovely image (sponsored by Sassy Studio designs), I just kept looking at it and thinking about that time when I was carrying my baby…

While I was having a soul/brain storm listening to my spirit’s direccion for a few days, I just took a page from one of my sketch books and laid some blue pastel colour in the middle of the page… Finally, something came to mind, so I was trying to materialise the thought very quickly before it was lost, and in doing so I forgot to take pictures of the process that we all love to see, but luckly I remembered on time to take some pics…
