“Once, Picasso was asked what his paintings meant. He said,
«Do you ever know what the birds are singing? You don’t. But you listen to them anyway.»
So, sometimes with art, it is important just to look.”
― Marina Abramovic
Yes, my dear friends, with art one does not always have to find a meaning, but simply to ‘look’, ‘observe’, ‘feel’ and ‘drift’ your soul away…
Another bird for you, this time for my submission as DT member for the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog. Again, it has been very interesting and challenging process to get something done, specially we I was at that precise moment when you say Oh! my God, what will I do this time?, I have no idea… So, as always I tried to tune with the digital image (this time sponsored by Robyn’s Fetish) I had (‘a bird at his feeding house’) and just looked at it observing, engaging, feeling and trusting the inner guidance of creation..
Inevitably, I recalled a previous post I wrote before, ‘Spring bird’, which gave me the first push into motion and used the background of that project in this one..
This week we have a colour ‘theme’ so I altered the background as necessary and glued the digital image where it felt right…
“A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not in the branch but in her own wings” –Unknown
I painted the digital image
Thank you for being here and hope you found something that enhanced the lovely time you are already having today… 🙂
